Terminally single gamer geek, Jake Denny, has officially become friends with Kix, the unrequited love of his life and delivery driver for Pizza Joe's. His goal now is to talk to her without being a doofus.
He's not tall. He's not very handsome. Heck, he still lives in his mom's basement (It doesn't matter than she owns the whole building, it's still the basement apartment.) So when Kix unexpectedly drops by one evening, Jake decides to impress her with the only thing he knows well: science!
The resulting twist rips a hole through reality, throwing Kix into the path of a dangerous stalker and imprisons Jake in a nightmarish web of delusions. How can he save her when he can't even tell what's real?
